Buying or selling a home is a big step. Owning and managing a home is no simple matter either. Whether it is a new or existing house, you want to be sure it is safe and sound without costly problems. The workshop instructor, a professional home inspector, will share his knowledge and experience in the areas of structure, roofing, heating, plumbing, electrical, etc. The workshop will cover what to look for when carrying out the inspection along with smart consumer techniques in getting the job done. How to select a professional inspector and get good service is also presented.

How to Hire a Contractor
Homeowners regularly need:
- Emergency Repair (eg. burst water pipe, broken furnace, etc.);
- Routine Maintenance (eg. annual furnace service, house cleaning, landscaping, etc.);
- Upgrading/Renewal (eg. new kitchen cabinets, replace bathroom fixtures, new electrical panel, etc.);
